A new employer-focused center to help businesses connect to resources that can help them reboot, grow, and rehire is open inside the Vegas Chamber, located at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts at 575 Symphony Park Ave., Ste. 100. The new Employ NV Business Hub is a place where employers can access the public workforce development system. The center will be staffed with workforce development professionals who can help employers with funding, training, hiring, talent development, recruiting, and more. The first of two business hubs is a coordinated effort between Workforce Connections (Southern Nevada's Local Workforce Development Board), the Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation, the Nevada Department of Business and Industry, the Vegas Chamber and the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. A second Employ NV Business Hub will open later this fall inside the Sahara West Library, located at 9600 W. Sahara Ave. For now, the Employ NV Business Hub at the Vegas Chamber will be open by appointment only from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. To reach the staff, please call (702) 586-3808 or email info@EmployNVBusinessHub.org.
